Recent developments on Twitter have coincided with our taking up space on Substack to share thoughts and positively connect with people.
I’ve been impressed by Substack’s features, the focus on quality writing rather than viral content and the collaborative spirit. It feels a world away from social media today. In my view, it’s worth investing time in.
As a next step, I’m setting up The Distinctive Dispatch subscriber chat as a new addition to our Substack publication.
This is a conversation space in the Substack app set up exclusively for subscribers — think of it like a group chat.
I’ll post prompts and updates for others to discuss. I hope it will be a useful, shared space for insights and information.
It’s what I once found useful about Twitter. I hope this is useful in some way to the group.
Substack Chat is available on the web and the Substack app. You’ll need to sign in on the web client or download the app as detailed below to access to the chat.
I use both options, and either works well.
To access on the Substack app, follow the steps below.
Get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Substack Chat is now available on both iOS and Android.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Jump into my thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
